In a peaceful, safe location some 10 minutes walk from the town centre, main restaurants, Wine Tram Depot etc. We had a downstairs superior room / suite that was well furnished, but rather dark and gloomy. Upstairs rooms with balcony are better. Service from Mandla and Ishmael was very good - considerate and prompt. Secure parking available on site, but area is small and rather difficult to manoeuvre. Excellent, comprehensive breakfast.

I was immediately impressed by the beautiful home and its prime location high up - the view from the balcony certainly did not disappoint. The staff went out of their way to make sure I felt at home and had everything I needed. They even made sure my mountain bike was safely stored on the lower level, ready for me to take it out and ride on one of the superb routes (it's actually on one of the Strava cycle routes!). Thank you, Gable Manor. I really enjoyed my stay; it felt like home with a typical Capelands feel and garden scents. Thanks for the breakfast worthy of a top-class hotel bistro, and the coffee was amazing.

The room was as large as a suite, with a separate living room. Tea and coffee facilities added to the comfort of the room, and the breakfast was very good. The pool area was a welcome addition, although I didn't have time to use it on this trip.

The location was excellent, within walking distance to main street. The staff was friendly. Big spacious rooms. Impeccably clean, white crisp linene. The breakfast was excellent, tasty and filling. I can highly recommend.

Location is great as it’s very close to the centre of village, a walking distance. Quiet residential area. Nice pool area. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Easy check in.

The Manor is well located away from the hustle and bustle of the main street where all the restaurants and shops are. It is only about 700 meters from the Wine Tram terminal. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We'll return and can recommend it to prospective travelers.

Very spacious bed and bedroom with a comfortable sitting room too. Balcony was pretty with shade from trees to keep off the hot sun.

Lovely place... And perfect location for us. Staff are super friendly and very accommodating. Pleasure to stay there and great breakfast.
